Ashmole Trust was formed in 2015 building upon the success of Ashmole Academy and its tradition of outstanding school performance.   The trust currently consists of a Primary and a Secondary School.
We are an ‘Outstanding’ primary school which opened in September 2016 for our first Reception cohort. The school is a two form entry school with classes from Reception up to Year 6; when pupils will carry on into secondary education at Ashmole Academy.

SEN Teaching Assistant  - Reception   

(Special Educational Needs)

 25 hours per week  

Term Time (39 working weeks)

Pay point 21- 24  (actual salary £17,249-£18,451pa)

Temporary post until 31st August 2025 with the possibility of extension.

Ashmole Primary are looking to appoint two part time SEN Teaching Assistants to work in Reception.

Experience  with managing behaviour and working with pupils with Autism would be desirable but not essential. You must be caring, calm and positive with a commitment to inclusion in Reception.

Duties will include delivering intervention programmes, supporting SEN pupils in class and at other times. The majority of time will be supporting one SEN pupil.  Also, there will be a need to contribute to termly reviews and contribute to planning meetings within the year group.
